Cobweb (2023)

Cobweb centers on a quiet, anxious boy named Peter who lives with his overly strict parents in a gloomy, silent house. Around Halloween, he starts hearing a tapping sound coming from inside the walls. His parents insist its just his imagination, but the sounds get worseand soon a voice starts whispering to him. The voice claims to be a girl trapped behind the wall, begging for help. As Peter tries to figure out whats real and what isnt, his relationship with his parents grows more tense and unnerving. They become increasingly controlling, and their behavior suggests theyre hiding something serious. The story plays with whether Peter is being manipulated, losing his grip on reality, or genuinely uncovering something monstrous. When he finally takes action, it sets off a chain of violent and disturbing events. The movie keeps things focused in and around the house, using shadows, creaks, and a creeping sense of dread to drive the tension. It builds toward a wild and bloody final stretch that shifts from psychological horror into full creature territory. What starts off subtle and eerie becomes chaotic and brutal, leaving a twisted answer to the question of what was really behind the wall.
